There is a little corner
That I visit every day,
No-one knows I go there
Or how long that I stay.
In this little corner
I speak to you alone,
I think what it would be like
To have you here at home.
In the little corner
I hold you really tight,
I cuddle, kiss and squeeze you
You're such a lovely sight.
In my little corner
I tuck you up to sleep,
I sneak another cuddle
I have another weep.
Where is this little corner?
It's where we're never apart
Where I always have you with me;
It's the corner of my heart.

Look for me in springtime
As raindrops fill the air
In the splendour of the rainbow
You’ll find my presence there.

You will find me in the fragrance
Of April’s sweet perfume
Drifting through the clover
On a sultry day in June.

An August day will find me
Upon the summer breeze
On the distant sound of the thunder
In the gently swaying trees.

In the golden fields of harvest
Is where I can be found.
As autumn time approaches
And leaves comes tumbling down

In the wintertime when days are short
And chill is in the air
Just look into a moonlit night
You’ll find me lingering there.

When the setting sun has gone away
And shadows fill the night
When the cloak of darkness lifts its veil
I’ll be your morning light.

So when you feel discouraged
And at night to God you pray
You’ll feel me there beside you
I’m just a breath away.

Gentle snowflakes touch my face
As a tear trails down my cheek
Among crowds and glistening tinsel
Your face, I once more seek.

Another month has come to pass
With not once glimpse of you
Except in dreams, you visit me
In shades of hazy blue.

Christmas time will soon be here
I long to see your face
Just once again, to see your smile
And hold you in my embrace.

Christmas time is boxed up
In tones of purple hue
It's wrapped in misty memories
And laced with thoughts of you.


Remembering christmases past, wishing you were still here to share them again.

My memories of you nan

of a sweet and gentle woman

You helped to raise me up
from a boy to a man
